Pedestrian in critical condition after being hit by car in Nepean Monday

Ottawa police say a pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in a private parking lot in Nepean on Monday evening.

Police say they were called to a parking lot in the 900 block of Moodie Drive shortly before 6 p.m. for a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital where he remained in critical condition, police said Tuesday morning.

Police are seeking witnesses and investigators would like to speak with anyone who saw the collision but has not spoken to the police.
