Hundreds gathered Saturday under sunny skies for 9runrun, the Emergency Services Run, a community event supporting Ottawa’s fire, paramedic, and police personnel.
Participants of all ages joined in, from serious runners to families enjoying a fun 1k sprint.
Proceeds from the event benefited the Ottawa First Responders Foundation, which aims to enhance mental health resources for first responders.
The crisp fall weather provided the perfect backdrop for a day of community spirit and support all while getting out and having a great run on the Trans Canada Trail in Ottawa’s west end.
