Police investigate body found in Orléans park

An investigation is underway after the discovery of a body in the Aquaview Park in Orléans on Friday.

Police said in an email they were called at 10:14 a.m. for an “emergency” at Aquaview Park, on Aquaview Drive near Brian Coburn Boulevard.

A person was found dead. The coroner is on scene.

“Any death outside of a hospital setting is deemed suspicious until investigated,” police said.

Paramedics confirmed they were also attended the discovery. A spokesman said there was no confirmation available on the gender or age of the person.
