The Ottawa Police Service has confirmed they have opened a homicide investigation following the discovery of a male body in the 300 block of Mockingbird Drive in Orléans Wednesday evening.
The victim, identified as Varney Marshall, 34, was located be emergency responders at about 6:35 p.m. at a home.
He had been stabbed.
Police intially referred to the death as “suspicious” on Thursday.
