Police probe shots fired at Lansdowne Park early Saturday

Ottawa Police Service guns and gangs unit is investigating a shooting that occurred in the Lansdowne Park area early Saturday.

Police were called to the scene on Bank Street at approximately 2:20 a.m.

The investigators found found several bullet casings on the ground, but were no reports of injuries.

In a release, police said the shootings are considered targeted and there is no current risk to public safety.
