Police seek help identifying suspect in Baseline bank holdup

Ottawa police are seeking public assistance to identify a suspect in a bank robbery Jan. 10 on the 700 block of Baseline Road.

The suspect entered the bank shortly after 2 p.m. carrying a black handgun. The man demanded cash and then went behind the teller stations.

He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

There were no physical injuries.

The suspect is described as about five feet 10 inches (178 cm) tall, with an average build.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing an olive-coloured winter coat with black sleeves, dark pants, black shoes, a balaclava, ski goggles and carrying a black duffle bag.
