Police seek witnesses in UTV crash that left teenager in critical condition

Ottawa police are seeking witnesses to a crash that left a teen with life-threatening injuries.

Police said a utility task vehicle, or UTV, was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Baillie Avenue of Constance Bay around 11 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1.

A 16-year-old passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition, police said.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone with doorbell, dash camera or video surveillance footage of the 200 block of Baillie Avenue or that say a UTV driving around Constance Bay between 10 pm and 11:15 pm, who has not already spoken to police, to contact the Fatal Collisions Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2345.
