Popular Canadian performer Sarah McLachlan has postponed a show scheduled for Nov. 8 at the Canadian Tire Centre and the rest of her national tour, she announced Wednesday.
“My voice is not recovering and I need to take the time to heal,” the 56-year-old musician posted on the social-media site Instagram. “We are working as fast as we can to reschedule the shows and previously purchased tickets will be honoured on the new dates.”
The Fumbling Towards Ecstasy 30th Anniversary Tour, with 13 scheduled shows, had been scheduled to start Friday at Rama, Ont., and to run through Nov. 20 in Victoria, B.C.
Fumbling Towards Ecstasy was McLachlan’s third studio album, released three decades ago, and it sold more than six million copies.
