Shots reported in Ottawa’s east end late Thursday, no injuries

Ottawa police were investigating reports of shots fired late Thursday night.

There were no reports of injuries.

Police said the shots were reported at about 11:50 p.m. in the area of 1700 block of Marquis Avenue, near Montreal and Ogilvie roads in the city’s east end.

Officers found evidence of a shooting, police said on social media.

The Ottawa Police Service guns and gangs unit was investigating.
