“Officers … quickly located the (stolen) vehicle in question,” police said.

Officers also saw a number of vehicles that were known to be popular with “theft networks,” two recent Honda CRVs and a Honda Pilot.

Followup searches on license plates and vehicle serial numbers led police to confirm several vehicles at the garage had been reported stolen in Ontario and Quebec.

Eleven stolen vehicles were recovered during the investigation, according to police.

The suspect was charged Mar. 15 on a number of charges, including 12 counts of possession of property obtained by crime, as well as charges of conspiracy and/or theft.

Police say further arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
