Two people were taken to hospital following a two-car head-on collision Saturday morning on Leitrim Road near Hawthorne Road in the city’s south end.
Ottawa paramedics confirmed a woman, 29, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while a man of about the same age was transported to hospital in stable condition.
A man in the second vehicle was assessed by paramedics at the scene, but he did not require hospitalization.
The streets were closed for several hours as police investigated the crash.
