There was a bit of good news for those wanting to beat the heat at City of Ottawa beaches on Friday.
Results of test results posted by Ottawa Public Health showed that E. coli levels had subsided at Britannia Beach (57) and Petrie East Beach (177), where the water once again met “provincial bacterial standards.”
However, more elevated E. coli levels meant that Mooney’s Bay Beach (283) and Petrie River Beach (379) were still not recommended for swimming.
