Provincial police in Pembroke have laid charges after a pedestrian was struck by a projectile that came from a vehicle.
On July 10, the pedestrian was on Pembroke Street West at 9:20 p.m. They were not seriously injured from the pellet-style gun.
Shortly after, police stopped a vehicle in Pembroke and three teenagers were taken into custody. Officers seized an imitation pistol capable of firing gel beads.
Two 16 year olds and a 13-year-old, all from Pembroke, were charged with weapons-related offices and face extrajudicial measures in accordance to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The three teens were turned over to their parents.
