The Grenville detachment of the OPP is on scene in Heckston while Hydro One crews repair a broken pole that has caused a fire and an outage in the area.
The area has been secured by OPP and North Grenville Fire Services.
The intersection of South Gower Dr. and Dillabaugh Rd. remains closed while operators work to have power restored.
Approximately 4,700 customers are without power in the area with Hydro One telling residents to suspect it to be out most of the day.
