A person was safely pulled from their vehicle following a south end rollover Tuesday morning.
Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) responded to the highway near Barnsdale Road around 9 a.m. on Oct. 29, where a vehicle had rolled and landed in a ditch. Initial reports were that one person was trapped inside the vehicle.
Firefighters arrived on scene three and confirmed the driver was trapped in the vehicle, which had come to a rest on the roof in a ditch on the west side of the highway.
Firefighters stabilized the vehicle and specialized tools were used to safely extricate the trapped occupant at 9:21 a.m.
The scene was cleared shorty after 10 a.m. and left in the control of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
