Ottawa Police Service is conducting an investigation after drugs and cash were seized during a traffic stop.
Just after 10 p.m. on Jan. 29, police stopped a rental vehicle after observing it driving recklessly in the Highland Park area.
During the stop, officers reportedly seized cocaine, crack and a “large sum” of cash.
The two occupants of the vehicle, a 30-year-old man and 47-year-old woman, have been charged with numerous offences under the Canadian Drugs and Substances Act including possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
