As a storm system swept across eastern Ontario, one unlucky driver in the Augusta Township had a tree fall on their vehicle as they drove by.
The collision happened Thursday evening just before midnight as severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings were in effect for most of Ontario.
Provincial police arrived on scene at County Road 2 at Shoreside Way and saw the fallen tree and the minorly injured driver.
However, this person was also found to have no licence or insurance and was charged.
“NEVER drive a vehicle without them,” police wrote on X.
