There are no injuries reported following a late-night fire in Barrhaven.
Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) responded to a commercial low-rise in the 3000 block of Jockvale Road, near Greenbank Road, shortly before 10 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6.
A caller to 9-1-1 had reported visible smoke.
Crews confirmed heavy smoke upon arrival and a working fire was quickly declared in order to dispatch additional rigs to the scene.
Firefighters began a fast attack and declared the fire under control about an hour after arriving on scene.
An OFS investigator was dispatched to the scene to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
