Ottawa police closed a portion of Somerset Street East and Nelson Street due to a gas leak.
Firefighters and staff from Enbridge are on scene to assess repairs. The area is largely residential and is nearby the University of Ottawa campus.
Somerset Street East is closed between Henderson and Sweetland Avenue. Nelson Street is closed between Templeton and Osgoode Street.
