The City of Gatineau Police Service (SPVG) is asking the public for help with the investigation into an armed attack in the downtown core.
Around 3 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, SPVG officers responded to a call about an assault in the area of 117 promenade du Portage.
The SPVG says several people were involved in the altercation and one person was reportedly injured with a blunt object.
The victim remains in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The SPVG is looking for witnesses as well as any images or videos taken by people present at the scene.
