Here are the roads closed in Ottawa this weekend 

The CN Cycle for CHEO — an annual fundraiser in support of childhood and adolescent oncology care — is taking over the roads on Sunday, May 5. 

The cycling fundraiser will begin and end at the Canadian War Museum at Lebreton Flats.

Residents should expect lane reductions and closures from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on roadways along the route, including; 

  • Kichi Zībī Mīkan (KZM) Parkway
  • Booth Street
  • Wellington Street
  • Portage Bridge
  • Laurier Avenue
  • Queen Elizabeth Drive
  • Prince of Wales Drive
  • Heron Road
  • Vincent Massey Park
  • Riverside Drive
  • Hogs Back Road
  • Colonel By Drive
  • Sussex Drive
  • Sir George-Étienne Cartier Parkway

Various OC Transpo routes will be affected by road closures and event activity:

  • OC Transpo routes 55, 57, 61, 62, 63, 74, 75 and 87 will be detoured between 6 am and 1 pm.
  • OC Transpo routes 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 85 will be detoured between 7:30 am and 1 pm.
  • Para Transpo travel times may be affected by planned road closures.
