The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) says there is no threat to public safety following a homicide in the ByWard Market.
One man has been confirmed dead after an incident in the 100 block of George Street just after 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12.
No further information will be released pending next-of-kin notifications.
The OPS Homicide Unit is conducting the investigation and you can expect a significant police presence in the area, along with road closures.
