A lengthy investigation has led to multiple harassment charges against a person from Drummond-North Elmsley Township.
The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was first contacted by an individual in February who reported incidents that had begun in late December 2023.
The person has also told police the incidents continued up to April 8, 2024.
Kurtis St. Pierre, 36, has now been arrested and faces the following charges:
- Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm (two counts)
- Criminal Harassment- threatening conduct (three counts)
The accused was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court in Perth on May 6, 2024.
