Man unconscious in hospital, police hoping public can identify

After a medical emergency near the Rideau Canal, a man is in hospital unconscious and police do not know who he is.

The man was brought to the hospital on July 2 just after 2:30 a.m. Ottawa Police Service are hoping the public can help identify him. He was near the canal by Rideau Street and Colonel By Drive.

He is between 30 to 40 years old, 5’9” and about 190 pounds. He has short brown hair and was wearing black shoes, shorts and a white t-shirt.

Police released a photo of two “distinctive” tattoos on his right forearm.
