OC Transpo will be switching to its summer service this weekend, starting on Sunday, June 30.
This summer, changes include service adjustments on select routes and the end of the OC Transpo On-Demand pilot project in Blackburn Hamlet, amongst other changes.
Service adjustments:
- School service will be removed for the summer, including 600-series routes and special trips on regular routes. Some service may operate during the summer school period in July.
- Special service to summer destinations, reflecting seasonal demand, returns on weekends and holidays:
- Route 139 to Petrie Island
- Route 185 to the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum
- Summer weekend service between the Canada Aviation and Space Museum and Blair Station will be provided as in past years but will now be identified as Route 125.
- Line 2 bus service and Routes 7 and 25 will have minor frequency reductions during certain time periods on weekdays to reflect reduced ridership levels during the summer.
Minor service adjustments or seasonal changes are being made to Routes 6, 7, 48, 85, 252, 256, 257, 258, 261, 264 and 272.
