The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) says an off-duty officer was involved in a two-vehicle crash while impaired and was placed on administrative duties.
Police say the collision happened on March 13 and nobody was injured.
The OPS has charged Cst. Cory Chuchryk with impaired driving, failure to stop after an accident and dangerous driving.
Cst. Chuchryk is scheduled in court on May 4.
