One person is dead after a collision east of Hawkesbury.
Shortly before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, members of the Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the crash on County Road 17, between Golf Road and Tupper Street.
The OPP says both vehicles caught fire.
One person pronounced deceased at the scene and several others were taken to hospital with varying degrees of injuries.
At least one was transferred to a trauma centre in Ottawa.
The investigation continues and more details are expected to be released today.
