OPP arrest last suspect in first-degree murder of Quinte West teen

Police say they’ve arrested and charged the last suspect wanted in the murder of a 17-year-old who was found in a Quinte West, Ont. hotel.

OPP officers said they found Kiean Stoddard’s body at a motel on Dundas Street East in Quinte West on Jan. 7 while doing a wellness check.

Police arrested and charged Khadijah Courneyea, 29, with conspiracy to commit murder, robbery with a weapon and obstructing a peace officer.

Previously, OPP officers arrested and charged Morgan Belyea, 22, Steven Courneyea, 26, Harold Russell, 43 and Aaron Ryan, 27 with first-degree murder at the end of January.

Belyea, Courneyea and Russell were also charged with conspiracy to commit murder and robbery with a weapon.

Investigators are asking for doorbell camera or dashcam video from Jan. 3, between 5:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. near 276 Dundas Street East. Videos can be uploaded online here.
