The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender on a Canada-wide warrant.
Benjamin Buda, 34, is known to frequent Ottawa, Barrie and Toronto. He is wanted for breaching his statutory release.
Buda is described as:
- White
- 5’10” (180 cm)
- 200 lbs. (91 kgs)
- Black hair
- Brown eyes
Buda also has the following tattoos:
- Oriental letters on right arm
- Necklace with writing on left upper arm
- Clover on left hand
He is serving a two-year, two-month and eight-day sentence for the following offences:
- Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
- Possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order
