Police in Ottawa had a busy day as they laid multiple charges for stunt driving and stopped a person with cannabis.
It started yesterday when officers saw a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 417. Police clocked them going 164km/h, and stopped them. The driver faces an immediate 30-day roadside suspension and a 14-day vehicle impound.

“The officer charged a different driver yesterday at the exact same location going the exact same speed,” provincial police said in a post on X.
Later on Nov. 19, police caught a driver going 160 km/h on Highway 416 near Hunt Club Road. The driver was issued a charge for stunt driving.
