Ottawa feeling cooler, seasonal temperatures beginning this week

While the nation’s capital has seen warmer than averages temperatures this month, Ottawa is finally beginning to feel chillier, seasonal weather this week.

According to Environment Canada, daytime highs will remain in the low single-digits, with a combination of sunny and cloudy skies.

As evening temperatures fall into the minus during weekdays, evening temperatures will rise above zero beginning on Saturday.

Based on weather data collected between 1991 and 2020, Ottawa’s daily average temperature in November is 1.7 C, with a high of 5.8 C and low of -2.4 C.

Additionally, data collected at Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport on this day over a 74-year period shows an average maximum temperature of 5.8 C and minimum of -1.8 C.
