It’s going to be a weather roller coaster this week for the nation’s capital.
The week kicks off with very spring-like conditions, as Environment Canada predicts a mix of sun and cloud for Monday and a high 11 C. The skies will continue to clear over Ottawa Monday evening, with an overnight low 5 C.
Tuesday gets off to a sunny start, with increasing clouds, showers and strong winds for the afternoon. The weather agency says the forecast high is 16 C.
Periods of rain will continue overnight Tuesday with a low of zero.
Now, brace for Wednesday.
Environment Canada says both rain and snow is possible, with a high just 4 C.
Things turn around later this week with sunshine for both Thursday and Friday and highs of 10 and 17 C respectively.
