Ottawa police are hoping the public can help them identify a suspect who assaulted a person in the southwest corner of the Vanier Parkway.
The incident happened at the intersection of McArthur Avenue on May 6 at about 9:30 p.m.
The suspect and the victim had an interaction in which the suspect became “aggressive” and assaulted the victim leaving them unconscious. The victim sustained serious injuries, the press release from police reads.
Officials say the person they are looking for fled the area on foot.
The suspect is described as mid to late 40s with a heavier build, weighing approximately 220 pounds.
