Police release photos in effort to identify remaining store robbery suspects

Ottawa Police Service’s (OPS) Robbery Unit is asking for your help in identifying suspects in a store robbery on June 10, 2024.

Police said it happened around 7:25 p.m. in the 4,200 block of Strandherd Drive in Barrhaven.

Officers were responding to a call about a commercial robbery and did arrest one person at the scene.

That individual is 40-year-old Shane Albert of Ottawa. They have been charged with the following:

  • Theft
  • Robbery with violence
  • Possession of property obtained by crime
  • Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence
  • Breach of probation

Three other suspects escaped the scene and OPS are looking to identify them. They are described as:

  • Male, 40-50 years old, white, balding brown hair with a goatee
  • Female, 30-40 years old, white, black hair and black Timberland hoodie
  • Male, white, wearing a mask

More charges may be laid as the investigation continues.
