Police searching for missing Kingston man

Kingston Police are asking the public for help in finding a man who went missing on Friday.

Police say Jason Gainsbury, 41, was was last seen at around 6:30 p.m. at the Tim Horton’s located at John Counter Boulevard and Leroy Grant Drive.

Investigators say he was scheduled to board a bus departing from Kingston at 8:40 p.m. bound for Toronto but when the bus arrived, a family member that was supposed to meet him reported he was not on board.

Police say they believe Gainsbury may have boarded another bus bound for Toronto that left at a different time.

He is described as white, five-foot-eleven, 200 lbs., with short dark brown hair which is partially balding on top, brown eyes and short scruffy facial hair. Police say he was last seen wearing a green knee length hospital gown, black pants, black shoes with a white stripe and had a bandage on his hand.
