Ottawa fire crews successfully extricated a trapped driver after the vehicle rolled over on Highway 417 early Monday morning.
At about 5:40 a.m. firefighters received a call from Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) who said a vehicle rolled at the 417 and Walkley Road off-ramp. Once on scene, officials confirmed a person was trapped inside the delivery truck.
Crews stabilized the vehicle and began extrication of the driver. Using specialized tools the person was safely removed through the windshield of the truck.
By 6:02 a.m. firefighters left the scene in control of OPP.
