St-Laurent station remains closed Saturday thanks to repairs

OC Transpo says that the ongoing work at St-Laurent Station will keep it closed on Saturday.

A visual inspection of ceiling tiles at the St-Laurent LRT station on Friday found evidence of possible concrete damage and corrosion. OC Transpo suspended train stops at the station afterwards.

“Rail service today will launch as planned with the rail platforms at St-Laurent station remaining closed,” says Renée Amilcar, the general manager of the Transit Services Department.

According to OC Transpo, the bus service to St-Laurent Station will run on the normal Saturday schedule with a shuttle service between St-Laurent and Cyrville Station.

Trains will run from Tunney’s Pasture to Blair Station on the normal Saturday schedule and will skip St-Laurent Station. Bus shuttles will operate between St-Laurent and Cyrville Stations

Route 19 will provide an additional option for customers traveling east to St-Laurent Station from Hurdman Station and Route 24 will provide an additional option for customers travelling west from Blair Station to St-Laurent.
