Summer-like weather continues for Ottawa this weekend

It’s going to be another beautiful weekend in the National Capital Region.

The forecast includes plenty of sunshine and above average temperatures, with no rain forecast until at least mid-week.

According to Environment Canada, we’ll see plenty of sunshine to kick things off for Friday, with a high of 23 C.

The weather agency says a few clouds are forecast to roll in for the evening with an overnight low of 9 C.

Saturday is expected to be on the cloudy side, but still warm at 23 C, getting down to 12 C overnight.

The sunshine returns in full force for Sunday and Monday with highs of 22 C.

The average high this time of year is around 16 C.

  • Monday, Sept: 30: Sunny. High 22.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 1: Cloudy. High 19.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 2: Cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers. High 17.
