Summer isn’t done with us quite yet.
Temperatures dipped as low as the single digits in the early morning hours over the weekend, even bringing a risk of frost to the National Capital Region.
However, Environment Canada says we will be greeted by temperatures between 20 and 27 C this week, as well as plenty of sunshine.
Though Monday’s daytime high will hover around 20 C in Ottawa, temperatures could reach 26 C by Wednesday, and then rising to 27 C for Thursday, Friday and Saturday,
The only rain in the forecast is on Monday, with an 40 per cent chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms in. Skies are expected to clear by the evening.
