A 16-year-old has succumbed to their injuries following a crash in Constance Bay on Sept. 1.
Ottawa police confirmed the death in a press release saying the teen passed this week.
The single-vehicle crash occurred on Baillie Avenue around 11:00 p.m. It’s a small residential street close to the water.
The vehicle is described as a utility task vehicle (UTV), which is an off-road machine similar to an ATV with seats for two people.
Police said the teen was a passenger of the UTV when they suffered life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses are being sought as well as anyone who might have surveillance footage of the UTV driving around Constance Bay between 10:00 and 11:15 p.m. on Sept. 1st.
