The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says business owners should be on the lookout after heavy machinery was stolen in The Nation Municipality.
Police say that on March 30, 2024, a male suspect was trespassing on private property at a business near St-Isidore. The OPP says on April 2, 2024, a backhoe valued at around $235,000 was stolen from a business located at a different property in the same area.
Police ask anyone with information about these incidents to call the Hawkesbury OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222- 8477.
The investigation is ongoing.
