Fifty-seven year-old Collie Morris – also known as Collin – was arrested in Toronto earlier this month for bail violations in connection with sexual offences in Leeds County.
The man was initially arrested in July of this year after an investigation found that young people had been contacted online and encouraged to share sexually explicit photos and eventually meet with a man. When first arrested, the accused was already in the custody of Gananoque Police on a separate matter.
The accused is being charged with invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age; agreement to commit a sexual offence against a person under 16 years of age; making, printing, publishing or possessing child pornography for purpose of publication; and two counts of failure to comply with a release order.
Police believe there could be more victims and are urging anyone who may have had contact with the accused online or in person is asked to contact the authorities. Those who wish to remain anonymous can also contact Crime Stoppers.
