Wet conditions, warm Halloween temperatures forecast for Ottawa trick-or-treaters

While still on the warm side, we’re looking at a wet Halloween forecast for Ottawa and surrounding areas, at least for the evening hours.

Environment Canada is calling for a mix of sun and cloud for Oct. 31, and a daytime high around 23 C.

It’s also expected to be windy for parts of the day, with gusts up to 50 km/h for the afternoon.

The weather could still be favourable for early trick-or-treaters, but the weather agency is calling for showers this evening with gusty winds and a low 13 C.

Showers are forecast to end around midnight, with windy conditions continuing into Friday.
