One person remains missing after a water rescue on the Ottawa River near Pembroke.
According to Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) OPP, two people had gone out in a kayak and canoe neat the Highway 148 Bridge and Allumette Island Tuesday night.
A 34-year-old man was rescued by a private citizen, but a 30-year-old woman remains missing.
Members of the UOV OPP Emergency Response Team, multiple marine units, Sûreté du Québec, the Pembroke Fire Department and County of Renfrew Paramedics have all responded to the scene.
