4 children, 4 adults taken to hospital following ‘potential Carbon Monoxide’ call in Vanier

The Ottawa Paramedic Service says eight people were taken to hospital in serious condition after a “potential” Carbon Monoxide call Sunday morning in the neighbourhood of Vanier.

Paramedics did not provide information about the exact location, but said they received a call at 9:15 a.m. reporting “potential Carbon Monoxide” exposure to a location along Granville Street.

Four adults and four children were transported to what paramedics call appropriate hospitals.

All four children are in a serious, but stable condition.

One adult is in a life-threatening condition. The other three are in a serious, but stable condition.
