The Ottawa Paramedic Service says eight people were taken to hospital in serious condition after a “potential” Carbon Monoxide call Sunday morning in the neighbourhood of Vanier.
Paramedics did not provide information about the exact location, but said they received a call at 9:15 a.m. reporting “potential Carbon Monoxide” exposure to a location along Granville Street.
Four adults and four children were transported to what paramedics call appropriate hospitals.
All four children are in a serious, but stable condition.
One adult is in a life-threatening condition. The other three are in a serious, but stable condition.
This is a developing story, more to come
