The Ottawa Police Service says officers are currently investigating a “suspicious incident” on Clarke Avenue in the Cummings area, in the city’s east end.
Police say they received a call at 9 p.m. Tuesday to the 600 block of Clarke Avenue.
Ottawa Fire Services spokesperson Nick DeFazio told CTV News Ottawa firefighters were also called to the scene. However, there was no fire, Defazio said.
The scene is labelled as an active crime scene, police say.
They did not provide further information.
Clarke Avenue is located off St. Laurent Boulevard.
