Police investigating alleged sexual assault on O-Train

Ottawa police are looking to identify a suspect in connection to an alleged sexual assault on the O-Train this fall.

The Ottawa Police Service is investigating the incident on the O-Train Line 1 on October 28, as the train was travelling eastbound towards Blair Station.

Police say the victim was approached by the suspect by approximately 3:30 p.m. and “began an interaction.”

“The suspect then sexually assaulted the victim,” police said. “The suspect then exited the train at Blair Station and boarded a bus toward the east end of the city.”

Police say the male suspect has an average build with dark facial hair. At the time of the alleged incident, he was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt under a black puffy jacket, black sweatpants and running shoes, and he was carrying a black backpack.
