Separate Ottawa crashes, including one with ambulance, send 2 to hospital

Paramedics responded to two collisions on Thursday night, including one that involved an ambulance.

Ottawa paramedics spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps says one of their vehicles and a car collided at Fallowfield and Greenbank Road at approximately 5:15 p.m.

One person in the car was taken to hospital in stable condition by another EMS crew.

There were no injuries inside the ambulance.

Emergency crews were later called to West Hunt Club Road at approximately 5:50 p.m. for reports of a three-vehicle collision.

One person was taken to hospital in stable condition.

Backups were seen on Fallowfield Road and West Hunt Club Road for about an hour.

The crashes have since been cleared.
