Serious crash injuries two, man in life-threatening condition in Ottawa South

A serious collision that happened in Ottawa South Tuesday night has left one man in life-threatening condition, and a woman in stable condition, according to The Ottawa Paramedic Service.

Paramedics told CTV News Ottawa Wednesday they received a call just after 11:10 p.m. reporting a crash on Mitch Owens Road between Bank Street and Albion Road.

When they arrived at the scene, they found two injured people. The man sustained serious injuries. He was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition. The woman was also injured, but she’s in stable condition.

Ottawa police say the collision prompted the closure of Mitch Road in both directions between Bank Street and Albion Road. They asked people to avoid the area.

The road has since re-opened.
